2 Hurt In Hampden House Fire
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A house fire in Northwest Baltimore sends two people to the hospital.
Firefighters were called to the scene of a blaze in the 3600-block of Hickory Avenue in Hampden.
That's where they found two women trapped on the second floor of a home.
They were safely removed from the house and treated for minor smoke inhalation on the scene.
Both were taken to an area hospital for further evaluation.
Authorities say the blaze spread to a nearby home.
The Red Cross is now helping a family displaced in the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
