1 Injured When School Bus Collides With SUV in Howard Co.
HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)-- One person was injured when a school bus collides with an SUV on Friday morning in Howard Co.
It happened around 7:00 a.m. in the 14000 block of Tridelphia Mill Road.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that a 52-year-old driver of the school bus crossed the center line and struck an SUV in the westbound lane.
Police say five students from Folly Quarter Middle School were on board the bus at the time of the crash, but were not injured in the incident.
The 17-year-old driver of the SUV was injured and transported on Friday morning. A 15-year-old also inside the SUV was not injured. in the crash.
52-year-old Elizabeth Farinholt, of Pasadena, was cited for failure to control speed to avoid collision and failure to drive right of center.
The crash remains under investigation.
