New scholarship honors legendary DeKalb coach Buck Godfrey's legacy
William “Buck” Godfrey built a 30-season legacy at Southwest DeKalb High School with 273 wins and a state championship. After his death at 83, his family created an HBCU scholarship to continue the longtime coach and teacher’s commitment to helping students.
