Atlanta no longer being considered for 2028 Democratic National Convention
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens had harsh words for Democratic Party leaders after the city was dropped from contention to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention. In a letter obtained by CBS News Atlanta, the mayor said that the Democrats were "abandoning Atlanta, abandoning the South, and once again abandoning Black voters."
