Atlanta city leaders break ground on Monroe Drive Safe Streets project at Midtown intersection
Atlanta city leaders broke ground on a new transportation project. The project includes resurfacing and pedestrian safety improvements between Piedmont Circle and 10th St. The father of Alexia Hyneman, who was killed at the intersection in 2016, says the project is more than a transportation endeavor -- it's a much-needed improvement that could've saved his daughter's life.
