Zoo Atlanta said giant pandas Ping Ping and Fu Shuang arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Sunday morning.
During a meeting at the White House, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that two pandas will be coming to Zoo Atlanta, the first at the zoo since 2024.
Zoo officials say two pandas from China will arrive as part of a renewed international research partnership focused on conservation and habitat protection.
