Rep. Jenkins pushes Senate Democrats on student loans
In the weekly Republican address on Saturday, Rep. Lynn Jenkins, R-Kan., slammed the Senate's "inaction" after interest rates on student loans doubled on July 1, calling on senators to pass a bill tying the rate to the marketplace.
