Comcast won't pursue 21st Century Fox, clearing way for Disney
Comcast said Thursday it won't continue to pursue a bid for 21st Century Fox, clearing the way for that company's tie-up with the Walt Disney Company. "Comcast does not intend to pursue further the acquisition of the 21st Century Fox assets and, instead, will focus on our recommended offer for Sky," Comcast Chairman and CEO Brian Roberts said in a statement, extending a congratulations to the winning bidder.
