Women and children leave Ukraine as men stay behind to defend it
“There is nothing good there. Just blood, ruins.” Families in Ukraine are having to split up to stay safe. Women and children are leaving their country to avoid conflict with the Russian military, as their male relatives and partners stay behind to defend their homes.
