White House, Congress may be moving toward action on gun control
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is suggesting he's open to new laws expanding background checks for gun buyers. In the aftermath of three mass shootings in the past two weeks, the president is also facing pressure to back some form of gun control.
