Washington state troopers file $1M lawsuits for carbon monoxide poisoning

Two Washington state troopers filed $1 million lawsuits against the state patrol, alleging the department knowingly exposed them to carbon monoxide in police versions of Ford Explorers. Ford says the leaks are the result of third-party alterations to the Explorers, but a letter from the state's department of labor says the exhaust issues are related to the vehicles themselves.
