CBS News national correspondent Lana Zak joins me now from Minneapolis. Lana, what more have we learned about last night's shooting? Hey there, Lindsey. We now know the name of that Venezuelan national. It is Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis. We understand from our sources at the federal government, they say that he was fleeing arrest and that the officer was acting in self-defense after he attacked the officer with a shovel or a broomstick. He also barricaded himself inside an apartment with two other men. All three of those men were taken in by ICE officials. Both the person who was shot in the leg, Sosa-Celis and the officer were taken to the hospital. We are led to believe that those injuries are not life threatening. We also know that the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Activity is working now on their own investigation into this second shooting. They were iced out of the federal investigation that was taking place into Renee Good's shooting. What have you been seeing throughout the day on the ground there? It's a tense day here, Lindsey. We have seen students walking out. We have seen protests that have grown outside of the Whipple Federal Building, with federal agents trying to disperse the crowd with pepper spray. We've also seen-- I saw three people who were playing a neo-Nazi anthem walking down the street here, the street where Renee Good was shot. There is a lot of tension. You played that bit of sound from Governor Walz. He also responded to the president's public statements about the Insurrection Act, saying that we need to start bringing the temperature down. And from the protesters that I've spoken with here, they have said that they don't have any intention of stopping their protests. And, in fact, everything that the federal government is doing to try and make them stop only makes them feel stronger. Lindsey.
