Florida shatters single-day record for new coronavirus cases
The number of new cases of coronavirus is surging in much of the country. In the past day alone, Florida has recorded more than 9,500 new cases of COVID-19, making it the single highest daily increase for the state to date. Politico reporter Marc Caputo joins CBSN from the Miami area with more.
