UN releases annual "State of the Climate" report
The UN's World Meteorological Organization has released its annual "State of the Climate" report for 2019. It looks back on extreme weather and climate events including the catastrophic fires in Australia, record-breaking heat waves in Europe, historic floods in the U.S. and growing levels of carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere.
