TV titan Fred Silverman dead at 82
Legendary TV executive Fred Silverman died on Thursday at the age of 82. The titan headed up the entertainment division of CBS, ABC and NBC at a time when the three networks dominated all of television. Silverman was responsible for greenlighting groundbreaking sitcom “All in the Family,” among others.
