What do you think will be the impact on the global economy? I think that's what's happening is that the supply side-- The president himself has a trip to Wisconsin planned later today. He's talking about farmers, but you can be sure that he is going to bring up these jobs growth numbers as well.

I'm sure. And President Trump said yesterday that his administration is driving prices down. Let's listen to that for a minute. We're really lowering costs. What we had is a bunch of con artists, the Democrats-- the "Dumbocrats." And what they did is they said-- they left. They gave the highest prices that we've ever had for all products, groceries, everything. And they started saying affordability. They'd say, this is about affordability. It's a con job. I inherited the high prices. We brought those prices way down. The president says it's a con job, but the latest Consumer Price Index report does show inflation is rising. So why do we think the president is saying the opposite? Well, the president, Adriana, has a long history of either exaggerating economic numbers or flat out claiming that they show something very different from what they actually do show. I mean, this is a president who repeatedly claimed that he had brought gas prices down close to $2, when that was simply not the case. There, he was claiming that he had brought grocery prices way down. That is also not the case. We did see a slowdown in inflation at the start of his term, but now inflation is right back up again, even beyond where it was when he took office, and at no point were grocery prices actually going down. They were just rising more slowly. But nevertheless, this is a president who cares a lot about his economic standing. He has talked a lot, including yesterday, about the fact that the stock market continues to hit all-time highs. And so it is not surprising in that context that he would want to argue that prices are going down, even if they aren't.
