Everyone loves a Cinderella story. Are there any lower-seeded teams that could pull off a big upset? Well, we'll see. I mean, I think the one to watch maybe is Troy University out of Alabama. They made the tournament last year. They have a bunch of new guys this year, but they play fun. They play fast. They score a lot of points. They beat San Diego State this year. They lost in triple overtime to USC, and I think their draw against Nebraska is very intriguing. Another one maybe to watch for is California Baptist. They get to stay in southern California, just 94 miles away, and take on the Kansas Jayhawks. It's a team, California Baptist, that is only in the tournament for the first time, and they're 14 and 2 in their last 16 games playing in a pretty good conference, the WAC. I don't think they'll be scared of the Jayhawks. Those are the two I'm looking for. And if you want somebody that could go a little farther than those two, the South Florida Bulls. They have high-level athletes. They're playing inspired basketball. Just a year and a half ago, their former coach, Amir Abdur-Rahim, tragically passed away. New head coach Bryan Hodgson has done an admirable job not only keeping the program where they were but elevating the program, and they have so much to play for, opening the tournament against Louisville. I think they have a real chance to get to the second weekend.
