Surgeon general issues warning over social media's "profound risk" to youth mental health
U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy issued a warning on the "profound risk of harm" social media can have on the mental health of children and teens. He called for stronger guidelines for social media use among young people. Dr. Ariana Hoet, a pediatric psychologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital, joined CBS News to talk about the warning.
