Special Report: Manhunt for gunman in Charleston church massacre
Witnesses say a gunman entered Emanuel AME Church, a historic African-American church, Wednesday night during a prayer meeting. He killed the pastor, state Sen. Clementa Pinckney, and eight parishioners. The suspect, described as a white man in his early 20s, fled the scene and is still at large. Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen is calling the shooting a hate crime. Mullen briefed reporters Thursday morning. Anthony Mason reports.
