Smithsonian unveils Neil Armstrong's post-conservation Apollo 11 spacesuit
After nearly a decade in storage, age had caught up with the spacesuit Neil Armstrong wore during his iconic moonwalk. Conservators at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum recognized the importance of saving the degrading piece of history and launched a Kickstarter campaign to make it happen. This week, they debuted their work. Jericka Duncan reports.
