ShotSpotter and surveillance video help fight gang violence in Cape Town

A wave of deadly violence has made Cape Town, South Africa, one of the most dangerous cities in the world. This is mainly due to gang-related murders and crimes across the region. Now, police are using U.S.-based technology called ShotSpotter to crack down on criminals. CBS News foreign correspondent Debora Patta talks to CBSN about how this program is working.
