National Guardsman who is also a teacher leads Zoom classes while deployed at U.S. Capitol
Sergeant Jacob Kohut is a member of the National Guard and a band teacher in Virginia. So when he was activated to help secure the U.S. Capitol earlier this month, he found a way to balance both jobs. He still teaches his virtual classes — only he's doing it in the back of a military vehicle, parked outside the federal building, in his fatigues.
