Search on for gunman who ambushed, shot Idaho officers during inmate's escape
Authorities are searching for a gunman who shot and wounded two corrections officers while they were transporting an inmate Tuesday night from a hospital in Boise, Idaho. A third officer was accidentally shot by responding Boise police. The gunman and the inmate are believed to have escaped together, officials said. The wounded officers are expected to survive.
