Saudi Arabia cuts ties with Iran after embassy attack in Tehran
After Saudi Arabia executed a popular Shiite cleric, Sunni and Shia relations have erupted in protest and violence. An irate mob ransacked the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Tehran, causing the Saudis to formally sever ties with Iran.
