Driverless car expansion expected in California, but San Fran wants to tap brakes

The California Public Utilities Commission is expected to allow two autonomous car companies to expand their operations in San Francisco, creating a 24/7 paid passenger pickup -- similar to Uber or Lyft -- almost anywhere in the city.
