Russian research ship still stuck in the ice
Rescue teams are having trouble reaching the Russian research vessel, Akademic Shokalskiy, with 74 scientists, tourists and crew on board, as it sits trapped in ice off of Antarctica. The boat has been stuck since Christmas eve, and has weathered several fierce storms. The worsening conditions have caused the
expedition's leader to consider evacuation. Don Dahler reports.
