Report: More than 8 million taxpayers couldn’t reach the IRS by phone
A report from Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee claims that more than 8 million taxpayers could not reach the IRS by phone. The IRS commissioner blamed the phone trouble on federal budget cuts.
