President of the Mormon church, Thomas Monson, dies at 90
The longtime president of the Mormon Church died Tuesday night at 90 years old. Thomas Monson had served at the church's highest levels for more than half a century. Monson kept a low public profile during nearly a decade as president at the same time that Mitt Romney's political campaigning put a spotlight on Mormon beliefs.
