Obama hopes Garland nomination will be seen as moderate choice

President Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court is what he sees as the reasonable pick -- not the homerun that liberal groups had wanted. The chief judge at the D.C.-based federal appeals court is a moderate centrist. He is also a former prosecutor who supervised the Oklahoma City bombing trial. By all accounts, Judge Garland is deeply experienced and respected. Jan Crawford reports.
