"Potentially hazardous" asteroid will fly by Earth on Super Bowl Sunday
A "potentially hazardous" asteroid is expected to make a "close approach" to Earth on February 4 just hours before the Super Bowl, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory says. The asteroid, however, does not pose any threat of colliding with Earth.
