We're back with The Good Stuff. Always on the lookout for the little things we all have in common, and we found the best or at least the most elevated example I can imagine. Pope Leo living one of the most exceptional lives on the planet. He now serves a billion Catholics as leader of the Church and the entire world as a messenger of peace. And yet, not even he can avoid frustrating dealings with customer service. In a story told recently by Father Tom McCarthy, an old friend of the pope's from Illinois, the pope had to call his bank to update the address and phone number on file, but the bank said they were unable to do it over the phone. And I'll let Father McCarthy take it from here. She asks all the security questions. And then it says, oh, I'm sorry, sir. It says here you have to come in person. [LAUGHTER] And he said, well, I'm not going to be able to do that. Would it matter to you if I told you I'm Pope Leo? "Psh." She hung up on him.

The pope did eventually get a message to the bank president, we're told, and the file was updated. But think of the real miracle here. The next time you're on with customer service and getting absolutely nowhere, you're not alone. The pope is there with you.
