Mueller on why he did not subpoena Trump

Former special counsel Robert Mueller was asked why he did not subpoena President Trump in questioning by Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-New York, during the House Intelligence Committee hearing. Mueller said "the expectation was, if we did subpoena the president, he would fight the subpoena and we would be in the midst of the investigation for a substantial period of time."
