Mother of N.C. shooting victim says incident was race-based
The deadly shooting of a black man in North Carolina is drawing comparisons to the death of Trayvon Martin, who was shot by George Zimmerman in Florida. Kouren-Rodney Bernard Thomas was allegedly killed Sunday by a white man claiming to be part of a neighborhood crime watch. Mark Strassmann spoke with Thomas' mother, who believes the shooting was racially motivated.
