Mother-daughter duo raise $1.2 million in scholarships for people with Down syndrome

When Ruby was born with an unexpected, 21st chromosome, her mom Liz had an urge to help other people from the Down syndrome community. She created a nonprofit organization that grants scholarships to adults with Down syndrome. "Ruby's Rainbow" has granted $1.2 million over ten years to assist with the cost of college.
