More than 7 trillion microplastic particles in California waterways, study says

A new study finds that more than 7 trillion pieces of microplastics have been found in California waterways, including the Los Angeles River. Scientists have discovered contaminants sometimes no larger than a grain of salt. CBSN Los Angeles' Stacey Butler reports.
