Lawmakers to introduce bill to grant Puerto Rico statehood
A bipartisan group of lawmakers will introduce a bill Thursday to grant Puerto Rico statehood. The measure would reportedly grant the island congressional representation in the Senate and House, as well as stronger influence in presidential elections. President Trump is opposed to statehood for Puerto Rico.
