James "Radio" Kennedy showed up on the T.L. Hanna football field in Anderson, South Carolina, in the 1960s – and proceeded to become an icon there for more than 50 years. Kennedy, who inspired a 2003 film, died Sunday at the age of 73, but his legacy lives on.
