LINDSEY REISER:

Let's talk Ohio. Senate seat up for grabs. Governor's seat up for grabs. What are Democrats' chances of flipping either of these in November? I spoke to some Democrats, some national Democrats today who say they're very, very bullish about these races, Lindsey, but especially on the Senate one. Senator Schumer said they're looking to target four seats, try to flip the Senate for the Democrats. Ohio is one of them. And in Ohio, it is looking like it's going to be a heavyweight fight. Sherrod Brown cruised through his primary last night and gets that rematch that Democrats have been hoping for against the appointed Republican incumbent, Senator Jon Husted. Of course, this is to fill the vacancy left open by JD Vance when he became vice president. But if you look at the terrain in Ohio, if you look at the last few cycles, it's not a swing state anymore. It used to be, but it's now much more red. Trump carried it by 11 points in 2024. So for any Democrat to win in this state, it's still an uphill climb, but the latest polls show that it's a tight margin, and Democrats feel really, really good about the Buckeye State, Lindsey. Fin Gómez, thanks, as always. Thank you.
