ICU doctor reunites with COVID-19 patient five years later
In March of 2020, Sal Mazzara spent weeks on a ventilator and suffered a cardiac arrest after contracting COVID-19. It was the earliest days of the pandemic and New York City Dr. Sanam Ahmed remembers the sudden deluge of patients.
