You're allowed to record their faces. You're allowed to record them. CAMILO MONTOYA-GALVEZ: Alicia Dantzker filmed her friend, Chantal Morales Rojas, getting detained by ICE agents in Denver after an officer had questioned her immigration status as she waited for her flight. Why did you feel the need to film? I had a warning that something might happen, and I asked my friend who was a lawyer, what is it I can do to be helpful? She said, you can't interfere, but you can video, and you can make a lot of noise. Help! Help! CAMILO MONTOYA-GALVEZ: She told us her friend, Morales Rojas, an immigrant from Ecuador, came to the US legally as an au pair and had applied to renew her status. DHS says her status had lapsed. The government has known at every moment where she is. She has a work permit. Why is the government telling her she can live and work here while a case processes and then also abducting her at an airport? CAMILO MONTOYA-GALVEZ: Agency sources tell CBS News the detentions come amid increased collaboration between TSA and ICE. In a statement, DHS said it is targeting people it alleges are in the US illegally and making sure they can no longer fly unless it is to self-deport. But immigration attorney Ghassan Shamieh says the arrests are causing panic among legal immigrants, too. My advice and the advice of immigration attorneys and advocates has been for the past two weeks, do not travel domestically via plane, regardless of what your status is. Even people with legitimate status, with work visas that are valid, are being detained. Shamieh told us that five of his clients have been detained by ICE at airports across the country in just the past two weeks. ICE sources tell us that the White House is demanding 2,000 daily arrests, and they tell us that detaining unsuspecting immigrants in secure locations like airports is, quote, "one easy way to try to get to that quota." Matt. We're sure you'll continue to follow this story. Camilo, thank you.
