That's scary. Get out. No! ASH-HAR QURAISHI: This video appears to show Missouri Highway Patrol officers abandoning their boat after it struck a submerged power line. Rescuers found this group of campers perched atop their vehicles. Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe activated the National Guard. Eight military choppers were used to safely evacuate more than 200 children and counselors from a summer camp. The flooding leaving several major roads impassable. The dangerous weather isn't just in the nation's midsection. A fast-moving wildfire in a remote area of Los Angeles County is prompting evacuation orders. The fire sparked Friday afternoon under dry and hot conditions and quickly swelled to more than 2,200 acres. It comes as much of the western half of the country wakes up today under heat warnings. We've got two full months of this ahead of us. And it's really, when you look at the numbers, July, and August is where we get these critical days. Now, back here in Missouri, one person is still unaccounted for. Meanwhile, the Black River, which crested overnight at a record nearly 29 feet, is expected to slowly recede, even as more rain threatens the region through the weekend. Adriana. All right, Ash-har, thank you so much.
