Girl dead months after drinking boiling water on dare
Instead of celebrating 8-year-old Ki'ari Pope's entrance into the third grade, the Florida girl's family is planning her funeral. Ki'ari suffered burns to her mouth and throat in March after drinking boiling water through a straw on a dare. She died at the end of July after having trouble breathing.
