Jimmy Carter released from hospital ahead of Thanksgiving
Former President Jimmy Carter was discharged Wednesday morning after a two-week stay in an Atlanta hospital and headed home to spend Thanksgiving with his family. The oldest living former president had surgery earlier this month to relieve pressure on his brain after a fall.
