Fingerprint match leads to arrest in child kidnapping, rape after 20 years
Pennsylvania State Police arrested 50-year-old Maryland man Timothy David Nelson, Jr. Tuesday and charged him in the 1999 kidnapping and rape of a 10-year-old Pennsylvania girl who was abducted while playing with friends. Police say a fingerprint match led to the arrest and DNA has also linked Nelson to two other similar decades-old crimes.
