That's right, Pat. A big, passionate crowd out here tonight to support the family members of Anthony McClain. As you mentioned, some members of George Floyd's family were out here as well to demand justice just like they did in his case. And here's what they had to say. - We're going to be on every hour. Every time you see a news channel, we're going to speak on Anthony McClain.
BEN CRUMP:

We came to stand with these children to say, not this time. You will not sweep Anthony McClain under the rug. [CHEERING] - We're tired of having to explain to our kids that their father is not here because he's Black, that he's done nothing wrong.

Well, that woman right there was a mother of one of McClain's three children. High-profile civil rights Attorney Ben Crump, here representing the family as well. Anthony McClain was shot and killed by a Pasadena police officer back in August of last year. You might remember the officer's body camera video that shows him running away from the officers. Well, shortly after the incident, the Pasadena police chief said the video shows McClain holding a gun in his waistband as he runs around that car. But McClain's attorneys argue he was just holding onto his belt buckle, that he was so scared he literally ran out of his shoes, and was still shot in his back twice. They also alleged a gun recovered across the street was planted by officers. McClain was just a passenger in that car that was pulled over for missing a front license plate. Now back out here, live, we did reach out to the Pasadena City for a comment. They said they canceled their city council meeting tonight, which is their policy now any time they have a demonstration planned here outside of the Civic Center. Reporting live in Pasadena, I'm Nicole Comstock. We'll send it back to you in the studio. - All right. Thanks for that, Nicole.
