Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is in London this morning meeting with Britain's prime minister and other European allies. Today's talks come after days of discussions between President Trump's envoys and Ukrainian officials about how to end the war. Finland's foreign minister spoke on CBS News24/7earlier about what her nation would like to see in a potential deal. Listen. Of course, we would like to see a just and lasting peace, in the sense that we know that Russia unfortunately will be a longterm threat, not just to Ukraine, to Europe, but I'd say to world peace. And therefore, probably, the peace deal that will come out of this-- and we certainly hope there will be a peace deal as soon as possible-- that will be like a precedent for the years to come also for the security order of the world. All right. For more on this, I'm joined by CBSNewsForeign Correspondent Ramy Inocencio, who joins us from outside number 10 Downing Street, where Zelenskyy is holding meetings right now with the prime minister. So, Ramy, I thought that that discussion from the Finnish prime minister there was-- or foreign minister-- was so interesting. Because that really is what is at the crux of this deal, right, which is that whatever happens has to ensure that Vladimir Putin doesn't do this again and doesn't seek to not only go after Ukraine again, but some of their neighbors. So what is happening behind you there in number 10? Yeah, sure. Absolutely, Vlad. You nailed it. Basically, the talks happening right now, which has been stretching on for about the past hour and a half or so, will focus on the near term for Ukraine's air defenses amid Russian attacks but also for the long term, in terms of security guarantees for Ukraine. With Finland speaking just now, they were talking about those security guarantees and something about NATO. And right now, I believe that we are seeing all four leaders now coming out of Number 10 Downing Street. You can see that they are giving hugs to each other as cameras here roll. There we are again, Volodymyr Zelenskyy trying to give this show of solidarity of support, this kind of unity here, again, talking about security guarantees. We have known that over the past three weeks, the initial proposal was potentially to give roughly a fifth of the country to Russia. Meantime, in addition, we're also talking about security guarantees on the style of NATO. But that has just been discussed over the past few days, in terms of trying to push ahead to what could possibly happen. It looks like they're now going back inside, potentially for some more talks. But we did see at least the leaders of France and the leaders of Germany leave after this past 90 minutes or so. We do also understand that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is going to carry on onwards to Brussels to meet the NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte, and then onwards to Rome in the coming days. And he's also said, Vlad, that he is willing to go to the United States to meet with President Trump himself again.

Ramy, are you able to get in a question to Emmanuel Macron? Is he close to you still? No. He is whisked off, Vlad, I'm sorry to say. But they're in. They're out. And they're gone now.

OK. OK, great. Yeah. So hopefully-- they came out shaking hands, smiling. So maybe there is a deal. We'll check in with you, Ramy, at some point, I'm sure, throughout the course of the day and over the next couple of days as these talks continue. Thank you, my friend. Absolutely.
