Bald eagles flying further south to find unfrozen water to feed on during abnormally cold winter
The abnormally cold and snowy winter in the Midwest has resulted in an increase in bald eagle sightings in Iowa. The birds are designed for cold weather and fly just south enough to find open water to feed on. Matt Hammill of KGAN-TV reports.
