Connecticut school district gets creative in addressing school absences
Across the country, chronic school absences abound. Before the pandemic, about eight million students nationwide were chronically absent, and that has now doubled. Meg Oliver visited a district in Connecticut going above and beyond to keep kids engaged in school.
