Cities struggle to handle migrants amid record border crossings
The mayors of several U.S. cities say they are struggling to deal with migrants being sent on bus trips and flights arranged by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson criticized Abbott for failing to coordinate with or notify local officials, making it difficult to provide the arriving migrants with the necessary support.
