CBS station finds wasteful spending in Florida after Hurricane Irma
An investigation by CBS Miami station WFOR-TV has uncovered millions of dollars in wasteful spending after Hurricane Irma. Before the 2017 storm, companies were ready to remove debris at rates that had been reached through competitive bidding. After the storm hit the Florida Keys, Gov. Rick Scott went in a different direction. WFOR-TV's Jim DeFede reports.
